Work > Painting & Drawing

The most recent body of work Mirror, Mirror reflects on environmental disasters starting with the BP Oil Spill and moving forward in time to the very recent Califormia wildfires. The mirror drawings harken back to the body of work, DarkGlass and its themes: the Claude Glass from the Hudson River School and the hand mirror -a symbol of vanity, but also a spiritualist tool to foretell the future. These images become reflections of our experiences as humans on this planet.
